Before

If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a bit of a makeup addict. So at some point I was sick and tired of my old, tiny makeup “battle station” where things would tip over when I tried to reach for something in the back of the shelves (see the “before” picture).

So the bf and I drove to Ikea and bought a shelf with a glass top, and some acrylic containers to make it easier to find and reach for certain items. I also got a mirror since the old battle station was right next to a large mirror, but the new was not.

Another bonus is that I get to do my makeup in front of the window, which is facing south, so the lighting would improve immensely as the old location has the light coming from the side, which is not ideal.

I am so happy with my new setup, it’s easy to see what I have and I can reach for stuff without worrying about tipping stuff over 🙂
